operated under the name Comprehensive Business Services. Founded by
Daniel H. Robins, Horizon is more than your average accounting and tax
service for Central Ohio businesses.
As the CFO of Merrill Publishing, Inc. for nineteen years, Mr. Robins
was responsible for guiding this business into becoming a $100 million
Fortune 500 company.
Armed of this knowledge of what it takes to successfully run a
business, Mr. Robins began his practice with the goal of helping
businesses thrive through quality financial information, consultation
and payroll services. This focus is what separates his company from the
vast number of accounting firms that provide little more than tax
preparation for their business clients.
Horizon establishes a streamlined system to reduce the time spent on
bookkeeping and enable owners to concentrate on growing their business.
In 1999, Horizon and its staff of 10 highly committed individuals moved
into its own office building to accommodate the growth they have
achieved. Our success has been due solely to the success we have helped
our clients attain.
Horizon is a member of the National Association of Small Business
Accountants, American Payroll Processors Association as well as the
National Federation of Independent Business and the Better Business
